Regular and associate members of MNESTA enjoy the benefits of complimentary training. This training allows members to stay informed on the latest technologies and practices, while maintaining necessary continuing education credits (CEUs) for individual state licenses.

What does training look like?

Training sessions include either CEU certified NEC training, or CEU certified training that pertain to the latest technological advances in security and life safety. Both webinar and classroom settings are available at different times and often classes are offered prior to events so members can take advantage of the training and participate in the scheduled event with one trip. The NEC classes are taught by a certified instructor while general CEU classes are taught by associate members that are certified and accredited by the State.

Training is crucial for your professional license

This member benefit is crucial in maintaining a license to conduct business in Minnesota.  All security companies are required by law to make sure that their employees maintain their licenses through certified continuing education.  This is one way that MNESTA membership pays for itself.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity; it is part of the benefit of being a member of MNESTA!
